Helping you open your first store 
The RetailFIRST!® program assists prospective members with retail experience open their first retail hardware store, home center, or lumberyard. A professional business consultant will help prospective members develop their business plan, feasibility study, action plan and timeline, and customized inventory assortment. Special discounts and professional merchandising assistance will be available on the original order.
 
Helping members add additional retail locations 
RetailSTART!® assists multiple location members add new locations through purchasing an existing store or building a ground up store; it also helps single stores expanding or rebuilding their retail selling space. The program provides project management, market research, special dating and discounts and professional merchandising assistance. A project manager helps develop a business plan and guides members all the way through the grand opening. 
 
Helping members with store improvement projects 
The customizable RetailPLUS!® program helps members become premier retailers in their market. The program provides project management and incentives for stores undertaking a comprehensive store improvement project. There is no cost to participate other than the actual cost of the project.
 
Category improvements 
Merchandise incentives make the Opportunity Program® a perfect tool for members remerchandising a department, undertaking a minor store remodel, relocating a store, or just improving a targeted product category. Our expansive selection of over 1,000 planograms is updated daily.

The Category Solutions program was specifically developed by our merchandising team for Do it Best Corp. members to not only stock the right categories but to stock the right items for each category. Category Solutions is not developed specifically by vendor but by the best items representing the category, which may include several vendors.
